Essential Items to Bring

What to Bring
For accommodation, bring your own tent and mattress for comfortable sleeping arrangements.
It is advisable to bring a rechargeable lamp to ensure you have sufficient lighting during the evening hours inside your tent.
To protect yourself from the sun's rays, please bring a sunhat and sunscreen to shield yourself during outdoor sessions.
As weather conditions can be unpredictable, it is advisable to pack rain boots, an umbrella, and a raincoat to ensure you stay dry and comfortable during outdoor activities.
Should an opportunity arise to walk Via Dolorosa, please have comfortable shoes to wear. Flip Flops don't work for Via Dolorosa. Sneakers or hiking shoes are best.
It is essential to have a notebook, Bible, and pen for taking notes, reflecting on the teachings, and engaging in personal study during the camp.
A towel is essential for wrapping yourself after baptism, this is compulsory.
Kindly bring along a blanket and pillow for your comfort during your stay at the camp. Tents are cold at night.
Please bring R150 - R250 in cash to cover the cost of a compulsory New Era baptism gown. Note that these gowns are to be worn strictly with clothing underneath.
